Participation Waiver and Release

Thank you for choosing to participate in events organised by Revolution Cycling Club Incorporated. Please read and acknowledge the following Participation Waiver and Release.

Participant Responsibility

By participating in any event organised by our club, you acknowledge the inherent risks involved in cycling, including but not limited to accidents, falls, collisions, and injuries. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically and medically fit to participate in the event. You agree to abide by all event rules, regulations, and instructions provided by our club officials or designated event coordinators.

Voluntary Participation

Your participation in our events is entirely voluntary. You willingly choose to participate in these events and assume all risks associated with your participation.

Waiver of Liability

By participating in our events, you waive any claims or demands for personal injury, property damage, or any other losses against our club, its officers, volunteers, event sponsors, and affiliated parties. This waiver applies to all events organised by our club, including but not limited to cycling, training rides, races, social events, and club activities.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants have appropriate personal insurance coverage for any potential injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during our club events.

Safety and Equipment

Participants are responsible for their own safety and must ensure that their bicycles and equipment are in good working condition. The wearing of a properly fitted and securely fastened helmet is mandatory during all cycling activities organised by our club.

Photography and Media Release

By participating in our events, you grant permission for your photograph, video, or likeness to be used in club-related promotional materials, social media, or other media platforms. If you do not wish to have your image used, please notify us in writing at contact@revolutioncyclingclub.cc

Minors

Participants under the age of 18 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian to participate in our club events.

Changes and Cancellations

Our club reserves the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule events due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or any other unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be promptly notified of any changes or cancellations.

By participating in events organised by Revolution Cycling Club Incorporated, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Event and Waiver Policy outlined above. This policy aligns with our Code of Conduct and Ride Rules and Guidelines and is designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable cycling experience for all participants.
